Previous to my son's birth

If you look at the post previous to my son's birth, on April 2nd. I said "But in less than 12 hours I will have a beautiful new baby boy."

What's funny about this is the time posted was 11:32 PM. He was born at 11:31 AM. So it was in fact barely less than 12 hours. 11 hours and 59 minutes to be exact.

Totally random and off topic

Jason's Dr. Appointments

On Monday when we went to Children's Hospital the doctor said that the lump is just a benign cyst. Although, it will need to be removed because they have a tendency to grow or become infected. Fortunately, it will most likely not need to be removed until he is at least 6 months old. He has to go back and get it checked at 2 months to make sure it hasn't grown.

We went to see the pediatrician today. He is now 9 lbs. 6 oz. They said that he should fix his days and nights in about a month. Hopefully by the time I go back to work.

Jason Lee

He was born 11:31 am on Tuesday April 3rd 2007.
9 lbs. 13 oz. - 21 inches

This has been our first night home and wow it's been interesting. We're sleeping in shifts because little Jason won't sleep without being held. Well, he did sleep 1 1/2 hours in his swing on my shift, but I was afraid to sleep. He is extremely gassy and constantly whimpers because of it. The shift sleeping is fine until Justin goes back to work, but hopefully we'll be better off by then. Maybe. My milk is coming in, but I can't get him to take to the breast. He just cries when I try. A half hour to 45 min till I get some more sleep.

My healing is going ok. I try and avoid the pain meds unless I need them, but I am extremely bloated. Getting up after laying or sitting for long periods is the hard part.

2 days ago at the hospital one of the nurses noticed 2 lumps at the base of his neck. They did an xray and an ultrasound and decided it is a cyst. It actually extends from his clavicle to his armpit and is around 4 cm x 2 cm. We have to take him to children's hospital on Monday. They said that it isn't blocking his breathing or feeding and isn't bothersome to him. It may need to be removed, but we'll find out more on Monday.

Not exactly what I wanted

Today at the doctors we decided that the best thing to do next is to schedule a c section. So it's scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30 am. I have to get up at 6:30 and get ready.

We organized some of the baby stuff. Clothes mostly.

Right now I'm eating Strawberries and Cool Whip. In 28 more minutes I'm not allowed to have anything else to eat or drink. That might just kill me.

But in less than 12 hours I will have a beautiful new baby boy.

I'm tired tonight (I had an extremely busy day), but I still won't be able to sleep.

41 + 1

On Friday the 30th I ended up at the hospital because of my blood pressure. They put me on the fetal monitor, did an US and a BPP (Bio Physical Profile). My cervix has been at 1+ for a week and a half now. I was sent home after 5 hours (I hadn't planned on staying anyway). While I was at the hospital I realized I had been getting contractions since the last evening. It just felt like gas pain to me, but they were coming every 3-4 minutes or so. I watched the monitor as they came, it was actually quite interesting. More interesting than the whole 20 channels on the tv. The contractions continued pretty much the same until I went to bed that evening. They haven't been regular since. I get an occasional one, every so many hours. I go back to the doctors tomorrow. I'm going to have to make the decision to wait (which doesn't seem to be doing shit), to induce (which turned extremely bad last time), or to have another c-section (I really don't want surgery). I don't want to make the decision. I don't know what is best. I'm getting extremely depressed and frustrated.

While typing this I have had 3 contractions, but I know if I move they will stop.

At this time in my last pregnancy I was in labor by induction, stuck at 5 cm, and they took her by c-section and general anesthesia in about an hour.

I just don't know what to do, but I don't think my body is going to do this on its own.

Adult swim didn't lie, they are showing the movie in its entirely. Although there is no sound and the movie is less than an inch high in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
